In the beginning -

Carpentry has been in my blood for as long as I can remember, My grandfather was a great carpenter and I would like to think I inherited even a small percentage of his skills.

Ever since the mid 70's I have had an interest in carpentry, As a child I hammered nails in to scrap wood, later on I built a downhill billy cart racer (Not this one), We lived at the top of an extremely long Avenue so of course we had a blast.

Education

Woodworking classes in Highschool was very productive, I had a great teacher that taught me many usefull techniques that I find myself using to this day, of course the tools I use now far exceed what we had available then but that doesn't keep me from remaining grounded.

2015 until present

I have been able to focus more on my craft, expanding my portfolio with many orther projects, fitting a raised floor in an old garage for a work shop, building outdoor funiture for customers, a large 12'x24' deck with custom benches with hidden storage, floating shelve and the ever popular lap tables.

I designed and built many different project, A six piece wrap-around mobile DJ console, Coffee tables, book shelve cabinets, storage boxes and many other items you can find here

The past few years I have accumulated well over 1600 woodworking plans and with a strong skill set in design you are sure to get something totally unique to you.

CNC Engraving

Early 2022 I purchased a wood carving CnC machine and found a new passion that has become very popular amoung many of the locals here in the Quadcities, RockIsland, Illinois and Davenport, Iowa.

Laser Engraving

After a great deal of research I decided in December 2023 to purchase a entry level laser engraver. A 10 watt laser modual which I upgraded to a 20 Watt for easier wood cutting.
The idea was to make elaberate designs on the carved signs that I create, I have made several items that have been well received.
